We had attempted to contact the resident to resolve this issue but have had difficulty getting in contact on 11/by phone and on 11/by phone and emailAfter the resident moved out on 11/1/15, we received a voicemail on 11/18/
threatening to report us to Revdex.com if we did not return the call within 24-hoursWe returned the call the same day, but were unable to get in contact with the resident and instead left a voicemail
The next day, on 11/19/15, the resident called and we spoke about the charges - which represented steps needed to restore the apartmentIn an effort to enable our residents to get a full refund, each resident is provided with an Inventory and Condition Sheet upon move in and asked to note any flaws or needed repairs and return a signed copy to the office within hoursIn addition, the Lease Agreement (signed by both parties) itemizes possible charges and provides an estimate for eachWe also provide the resident the opportunity to walk the unit with someone from our maintenance team to assess possible charges and clean/ make repairs prior to move out
We provided copies of the invoices for the charges incurred and offered to cover half of the $apartment cleaning charge in our 11/19/email correspondence and a separate voicemailThe resident responded so far as to inform us that they would file a complaint with Revdex.com but did not acknowledge our offer to reduce chargesWe have not received any response since and have not been able to make further contact with the resident
