To Whom It May Concern, I have been in business in Connecticut for over yearsI take pride in my work and if there is a problem I make sure that at the end of the day I have a satisfied customer [redacted] has called numerous times and I tried to explain to him that there is nothing wrong with his driveway and that it's not falling apartFrom the very beginning I explained that the areas that he is concerned about are areas that we couldn't use the paver on and we had to rake those areas in by hand and sometimes when that's done it can bring more rock to the top of the pavementI told him right from the first complaint that when it's time, the driveway should be sealed and that would take care of the loose stonesThere is nothing wrong with the drivewayEven if I did the driveway over that would more then likely happen againIt's an area that had to be raked in and it allowed rock to come to the surfaceThe driveway is not falling apartI offered to seal it for cost and labor and I never heard back from himI would like to know what company told him there is not enough base and that the asphalt was cold when it was layedHow can he even say that when the base is under the driveway and for him to make the claim of cold asphalt he would of had to been there [redacted] was there the whole time from start to finish so he knows exactly how much material was usedIf he had any concerns, why wouldn't he say something while the driveway was being put in? To Whom It May Concern,
I have been in business in Connecticut for over 25 years. I take pride in my work and if there is a problem
I make sure that at the end of the day I have a satisfied customer. [redacted] has called numerous times
and I tried to explain to him...
that there is nothing wrong with his driveway and that it's not falling apart. From
the very beginning I explained that the areas that he is concerned about are areas that we couldn't use the
paver on and we had to rake those areas in by hand and sometimes when that's done it can bring more rock
to the top of the pavement. I told him right from the first complaint that when it's time, the driveway should be
sealed and that would take care of the loose stones. There is nothing wrong with the driveway. Even if I did
the driveway over that would more then likely happen again. It's an area that had to be raked in and it allowed
rock to come to the surface. The driveway is not falling apart. I offered to seal it for cost and labor and I never
heard back from him. I would like to know what company told him there is not enough base and that the asphalt
was cold when it was layed. How can he even say that when the base is under the driveway and for him to make
the claim of cold asphalt he would of had to been there. [redacted] was there the whole time from start to finish
so he knows exactly how much material was used. If he had any concerns, why wouldn't he say something while
the driveway was being put in? Sealing the driveway will take care of any loose stones. Every time I went to meet
with him I assured him that the driveway wasn't coming apart and when it got closer to a year after it was installed
then it can be sealed. Also whoever gave him a price of $9,500.00 is crazy. I want to work with [redacted]
but he wants no part of what should be done. I will not tear up a perfectly good driveway when there is nothing
wrong with it and install a new one. He was there the whole time it was being installed so he knows exactly how
much material was used. I know that after it's sealed he will see what I have been trying to explain to him. I really
don't know what else I can do or say, however I still would like to know the name of the company who has no idea
what their talking about and would charge such an outrageous price. I ALWAYS stand behind my work and that
will never change. He did agree at first to have it sealed and then all of a sudden he changed his mind.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
