Review: I got a spray on tan for the first time in my life. The same day I started itching. Over the course of a few days there were welts all over my body. Raised and red and itching. Then my lungs started hurting (feeling burned)I had bought 10 sessions of tanning for $162.90 on special, and realized the spray on product had caused all my health problems.( and now I am sick) I called "Illusions" wanting to get a refund, but they would only give me in store credit. I had previously not been notified of "no refunds". All I had heard said repeatedly to me was "there's no side effects to the spray on tanning". Now I know differently.I believe I should have gotten at least a refund. Now I'm thinking the product should be taken off the market. I'm hoping I don't have any long term effects...Thank you for your assistance in this matter.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund $162.90 which is the price of the 10 tans that were not used.

This matter has already been resolved. I believe this somehow crossed in the meantime. [redacted] did notify my manager, [redacted], regarding a rash due to her Mystic Tan visit. She was insistent on receiving a full refund. My Manager told her our policy is no cash refunds but we would issue her in store credit. We do have a sign clearly posted at the front desk explaining our "No cash back" policy. [redacted] had agreed to an in store credit- wanting a tanning package. We went ahead & put her credit on her file in the salon. A few days later she called back insisting a cash refund again. [redacted] told her due to her circumstance she would issue her cash back but had to okay it with the owner, myself. [redacted] notified me of this issue & I agreed due to the circumstances we would refund her cash, against our store policy. I wrote her check that day & mailed it to her address.
We were very surprised to receive this letter from the Revdex.com since this matter was already resolved. We pride ourselves in extremely Good Customer Service & pride our business because of it. We would Never want a customer to have a bad experience in our salon. We have sold thousands of Mystic Tans in the last several years (15 to be exact), and have Never experienced a complaint of a "rash" or "allergic" reaction to the product. This situation was unique to us & we felt we handled in the best possible manner.

This complaint was made with a warning that it needed to be resolved in a timely fashion. Since it was not, that's why it was sent to the Revdex.com. Also I never agreed to an in store credit. I had asked to talk to the owner, but was never connected. [redacted] finally resolved this issue, and a check was sent to me. Thank you [redacted].
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9540984, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
