We do also have a process by which a student can request the refund earlier than this time frame if the student has an e-Refund account set up or paid online with credit card This policy is in place due to the high volume of refunds processed by Illinois Central College and ensures the accurate delivery of refunds to students Our Manager of Student Accounting reached out to the consumer (the mother of our student), identified the issue and found a satisfactory resolution for the student and her motherThe student was eligible for the expedited refund and it has been processed within the timeframe requested by the consumer In this situation, the timeframe of "mid-March" was incorrect informationWe are trying to identify where the misinformation originated so we can correct for the future We are appreciative this was brought to our attention so we could resolve the issue for the student
