Due to a family emergency, our tattoo artist needed his four appointments for February 10th rescheduled. Our secretary called each client to reschedule them early that morning. [redacted] is the only client that did not get back to us on the 10th to move her appointment. Considering that she had...
unexpected free time, as she couldn't come for her tattoo, we feel that she had a perfect opportunity to get back to us in a timely manner. Our original deposit policy requires that clients give us two days notice to reschedule or cancel appointments, otherwise the deposit is paid to the artist. We didn't hear back from Ms. [redacted] until the next week, and had already paid our artist for his work week, including her unclaimed deposit. We would also like to state that the deposit she paid us was $50. She did ask to put a tip on the payment, however our computer's software does not add tips to deposits. We have included a receipt for the deposit of $50.Ikonic Ink Altoona
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]I have rejected the response given by Ikonic Ink due to a few issues in their response. First, I did not blatantly not show up for my tattoo appointment like they claim. I received a voicemail informing me that my appointment had been canceled by the artist, which I had no control over. Also, I am a college student that was unaware of my schedule until a few days after the cancelation. They called to cancel my appointment on a Friday afternoon and I got back to them on the following Monday. This was not an excessive amount of time to wait. Their policy only applies to cancelations done by the consumer not the business, so that should not apply in this situation. The voicemail also did not specify that I needed to call back to reschedule within 1-2 days. Finally, I was charged $60 by the business and I have my bank statement to prove this, pictured below. I have the receipt and voicemail readily available if needed.
