My husband and I dined at Ijji Sushi on May 29th, 2016. Our bill came to $45.14 on which we left a $10 tip (we had used a $10 off coupon). The next day, I noticed there were two charges on our account for $45.14. I called Ijji Sushi and explained the situation. The man I spoke with rather gruffly said I had to come down to the restaurant to show my bank statement and bring my card in person. He said he could not do anything over the phone. I drove down and spoke with [redacted], the manager. She was more polite, and apologized. She admitted this had also happened to another person over the weekend. She said we had to wait until Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) to see if it stayed on my account. She told me she would call her POS company and call me on Tuesday. She did not call. The charge remained on our account. (However, the tip was now added in on ONE of the charges). I called the restaurant again. The same man answered. I asked for [redacted], he replied she was not in. I explained that she was supposed to call me back to take care of the charge on our account. The man was rude, callous and had no customer service skills at all. Unfortunately, I got angry and raised my voice and told him that I was getting frustrated with this. I had to call two more times. I finally reached [redacted]. She said she would take care of it and call me. The next day was her day off. She said if it wasn't resolved, I could leave a message and she would call me back. The matter was NOT resolved and I called again and spoke to the same man. I left my name and number for [redacted] to call me. She did not call. The charge remains on our account. No one from the restaurant has contacted me and I am tired of calling and speaking with the rude man. I waited a full week to allow the business to resolve their mistake. I feel that I need your help. Thank you.Desired SettlementI would like the extra charge of $45.14 removed from our account immediately. I would also like an apology. Hopefully, this will be a customer service training opportunity.Final Consumer Response
