I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint These are basically lies and I see it will be a he said/she said issue However I had the valve replaced that the plumber said was working properly and had the refrigerator fixed There were two separate issues with our now fixed So, how could the plumber say the valve was not broken!!!!!!!!! I have the receipt from my handy man who replaced the valve for me and have the broken part What do you need from me to move forward This plumber was so unprofessional I want something done for his non actions

On our first visit we were called to diagnose the leak behind the homeowner’s fridgeOur technician did pull the fridge out and noticed that the leak is coming from the fridge side where the water supply line connects to the fridgeThe technician turned the water supply valve off, wiped down the
supply line and the floor to see if the leak continuedThen our technician waited minutes and during that time took pictures of the preexisting damage of the homeowner’s floorThe technician showed the homeowner that the valve is working properly because the leak stopped, which meant that the valve works properly and shuts the water to the fridge offOur technician recommended that the homeowner calls an appliance guy to look at their fridgeHowever, the homeowner insisted for her valve to be replacedUnfortunately, since the homeowner called us through her insurance we cannot replace parts that are functioning properly under their insurance policyThen we got a second call and we went once again to look at the valveWe inspected it and again the homeowner insisted to replace the valveSince the valve was shutting the water off to the fridge and the supply line had no leaks, we again recommended for an appliance guy to look at the homeowner’s fridgeOnce again, our tech did leave the valve off so it does not continue to leak and damage the homeowner’s floorWe apologize for any inconvenience we have caused this customer, but we will always honor both the customer and their insurance company by diagnosing the issue and only repairing damages items or items that are malfunctioningIn this case we did not find anything wrong with the valveIf the customer wanted, we could have replaced the valve but the cost would have been out-of-pocket and not covered by the insurance company
