IDS was recommended to me by a friend for the travel TDY team. I called and was hired through a phone interview. I have been TDY before and is very familiar with compensation. I was told to report to Boston on a Monday after the phone interview Friday. Ok I can do that. Well after thinking about it I asked where was staying and reporting to, the answer was you have to find your own lodging and pay for your own rental! What?! 1st red flag. Then I was told I couldn't get an advance to cover unnecessary expenses. 2ns red flag. After much debate I got the advance to pay for a seedy place that was as close as I could get to my work site. Ok everything close to my work site was out of my budget without a corporate discount. I asked about that and was told they didn't have one. This is getting worse because I am already coming out of pocket for expenses I shouldn't have to pay for. The cost of living in Boston is the highest in the country. The daily compensation for lodging didn't cover what ai had to pay not to mention I had to pay for my transportation. I think by now you get the picture. This company should and could do better, or I think its just my PM!

I first discovered IDS Travel through a telemarketer I spoke to, who initially sold me with the allure of travel packages. After purchasing and reflecting I was very wary that this would be a scam. Well it was far from it. Not only do you receive 9 free packages for a ridiculously good deal. But you can also utilize the services for any additional trips youd like to take.

A proud member of IDS for 5 years, I don't even know where to start. First of all, the deals are insanely low. This membership is really only beneficial for you if you are a consistent traveler. While there have been times where I've paid the annual fee and only traveled once, the best times having this account was when I used it frequently to visit places. The concierge service is convenient in the fact that I don't have to do any research I just let my agent, who's very knowledgeable on geography and world locations, help me plan my trip through suggestions and advice. Finally the overall experience really takes the cake, the ability to have access to anywhere in the world for low prices is really a special thing. Utilize this product while you can, it is different.

When I first asked an employee about IDS a year ago I was told the company deals in a manner similar to Costco. 1 year of membership and 5 vacations later I can attest that this statement is true, in both the fact that IDS has great wholesale prices and also their commitment to customer service is truly inspiring. From Tahiti to Puerto Vallarta, IDS is helping me cross off my bucket list, 1 trip at a time.

About 2 years ago if you asked me about travel agencies I would have been adamantly against them. After dealing with a travel company by the name of ***, I was completely ready to go back to planning my own trips. However for my wife & I's 25th anniversary we wanted something special. We called a few different places and just when we almost gave up, my wife Linda found IDS Travel. Just in the nick of time, we were able to get our whole Hawaii vacation planned out for us step by step, with activities and excursions already paid and planned for. Couldn't ask for anything more from this company, except hope you guys can book my 50th too.

IdsTravel was so influential in my trip to the Cayman Islands. I was initially skeptical to leave the trip booking to someone else, while I paid the full booking prices, why not just do it myself? However IDS was much more than a convenience to my family vacation. I'd go as far as to say their company was a necessity, getting me and my family of 6 to and from the islands with no hassle. My husband was able to pick up the rental car as soon as we landed, the hotel we stayed in was very nice (The Westin Grand Cayman beach resort, a recommendation by my booking agent Tess) and ultimately we enjoyed our vacation with no stresses. And all I had to do was call and ask for help! Thanks IDS
