SCAM
This Company got over $5400 from my husband and I. We went through 5 case managers and sent and resend needed paperwork several times. They asked for permission from our bank accord we denied that. Today we get a letter in the mail that they have terminated their services. Once we questioned their fees, they typed a letter 5 days later and waited until they got the last payment to send the termination letter. We are getting it 3 weeks later. Total SCAM!

they are doing a good job
They are doing a good job, though it's slow-going. I think my case worker is trying hard to keep me up with what she has going on and can give them high marks for effort so far!

Ideal Tax Solutions has no business license
Ideal Tax Solutions has no intent to do anything but defraud you. If they have your power of Attorney and a photo of your driver's license, expect that they will attempt to file taxes and collect a refund before you get the chance. Your identification will be sold to either a criminal who needs a clean record to work or perhaps an illegal immigrant. If they work in your name, you will be liable for taxes. If anyone has been to your home to give you a medical screening, they have attempted yo get enough information to apply for loans in your name. The visit to the property, on my opinion, is an attempt to gain any other identifying information and as the property for a second mortgage. If you have dealt with these people, you need to make sure your home is still in your name. They had your power of attorney for tax purposes. It seems to me that his company targets you from the moment they get your social security number and Power of attorney, that they appear to keep going until you are liquidated. That being said. Do not panic. Do call the bank and contest the charges. Their refund policy will not hold up in a court of law. Their business license is suspended for failure to pay taxes. Call the IRS and explain what happened. File a complaint form with the IRS. File a report with the Federal Trades Commision. Once people start doing this, the Fedreal Trades Commison will likely start a law suit. If you are on the FTC list, if anything is recovered when they are arrested you will receive your fair portion. In past cases of tax fraud companies, this may only be 15 percent of your loss. Filing with your bank is very important. This needs to be done, to protect you if the company steals more money from your account. Be careful when they keep calling to fish for more info. Social Security and other agencies will never call you home. Ignore the caller ID. Companies like this pay for the use of local numbers so they can appear to be from the area. There was one set of con artists who would actually call and social securities actual number would show up on the caller ID. Ask them questions. Ask them for a website address. Ask for their information so you can call them back. If you rattle them enough, they will stop to a degree. Whatever you choose, from this point montor or safeguard your assets , I can't really make any recommendations. I saw HandR block came up with a monitoring plan. It's in their best interest to stop these financial defradulators bc they steal legitimate business and wipe out assets of people who could be HandR Block customers. You have to learn to not believe people when they call. Tell them you will call the agency they say they are from in a minute. Then call. Your insurance company, social security, they do not make calls to people's homes like this. Do let these people terrorize you. They pretend to be different agency's, they attempt to scare you into giving what money you will. They will trick you into giving them more information to take it to a new level. Beginning now, keep track of all information and telemarketing calls. To your home. Make sure that your assets are still in your name. Make sure that you do not have a mortgage or second mortgage on your home that you didn't apply for or receive money from. They tell you that you can't get a refund or assure you to not call the IiRS, bc that is what they are afraid of. Remember, I said report to your bank, call the IRS, fill out the form, contact Federal Trades Commision (you can also choose to sue privately). If you have not figured out already do not waste time with the Better Business Bureau. They have no authority
In my opinion, the best way to intimidate people that financially defradulate you is ask them personal questions and indicate that you have or will contact the IRS etc. I have never seen anything this pathological. I am going to make a website if I get free time that will help walk you through this process. Why would I do this? They defradulated my friend. I don't appreciate it. Also, there is a substantial reward if you turn in enough info to prosecute. A significant percentage of fees recovered. These people steal millions, I will take a 10 percent gratitude payment for gathering enough information to turn them in. Especially, since I have already invested so much time in this. I'm not sure exactly what the percent was. I saw it on the IRS website. Up until that point, I was mostly trying to get Ideal Tax Solution to back away from my friends information. I had invested alot of time. I have a great deal of information. The key is, when you turn in the info, it has to be enough to lead to an arrest. Doesn't that sound like a potentially lucrative hobby? At any rate, good luck. If I ever get a website done, I will try to find a way to help all of you as much as possible. Many of these fraudlant companies are on India. Their are call centers where financial crime is all they do. In this case, the business owner does appear to be a resident of California. Make sure you keep up with the Federal Trades Commision once they pick this up. I'm literally going to try to even make sure these people cannot hide assets. That means the reward money is better plus all of you will recover a greater percentage. You need to report this. It is nothing to be ashamed of. The owner is a very bad predator. Apparently, before this he was in real estate fraud. No one should do this to people. Keep your eyes out for my webpage if I get one going. Thank you.

They think I am a US tax citizen. I'm not.
I'm getting these emails too. They've even given me a random last name that I've never had. Either someone has stolen my email address and owes the IRS a lot of money, or this is a scam. I have never even been to the US let alone become a tax citizen there, lol. Oh, and now I'm getting similar emails from a different Michael (Bishop) at a different "tax" company. All emails have the name "Emma" at the bottom.
Nice try, but you're wasting your time with me!

Take your money and run
After almost one year and a half and out $4500.00 they did nothing but frequently had me off from consultant to consultant.. never assisted or resolved any issues. They lied and waisted my time
And money then refused to reimburse me when I inquired. The BBB should not allow these people
To operate and take advantage of people.

My mom has been receiving daily emails from a Mr. Baker about her tax debt. I called on her behalf and a very rude man I believe his name was Alex said Mr. Baker couldn’t help my mom only him. When I pressed to please speak with Mr. Baker he got upset and hung up on me.
I called again and this time a Sara Almainana answered and took me through some questions. She spoke so fast I could nearly speak much less think. All I wanted was information and she was telling me how mom mom’s social security would be garnished and her home lost to the IRS if I didn’t pay her a retainer today of $495.00. I was terrified. I don’t know if that’s normal for them but I will not be using their services anytime soon.

This company sounded good from the beginning but later requested a lot of items. They were going to change a single-working parent 5000 dollars. They were not guilty in taking my money. Mandy and Lauren were not helpful. They would not refund some of the money I paid. Mandy said she would help me get some money back but never called me back. Please do trust this company they will take your money and withdraw within two days after a payment. I paid about 2000.00 dollars and they could not guarantee that they could get my tax debt reduced. I guess I lost my money. Lauren is a very rude person and Mandy will tell you things you want to hear to get your hopes up. Don't trust them. I am rating them a one star but they don't deserve that. This company will take money from hard-working families especially those that have one parent working and another with a health problem. This is scam and they will take your money.

I contacted them about a potential need for their services. My issue was resolved without their assistance and I informed them I wouldn’t need their intervention after all. I was quite clear about it.

I am now being hounded by them with repeated emails (from “senior tax analyst”, Michael Baker). Each email is boilerplate in content, and makes no acknowledgement of my emails asking them to cease correspondence.

Now, if they can’t pull it together to appropriately reply to my emails, there’s no way I would hire them to assist me in resolving *anything*, much less a complex tax situation.

After the continuing barrage of emails, I told them if they sent me any more correspondence other than to acknowledge my communications that I had no need for their services, I would report them to the Revdex.com. I received three more emails soliciting me to employ their services, and here we are.

They are definitely NOT a company with which I would EVER do business.

Nice try. So after weeks of being hounded via email by Michael, which finally ceased, now “Rachel” at *** (call back #***) is pestering me by phone. STOP!

I paid Ideal tax solutions to help lower my tax debt with the IRS. I was told that I would stop getting threatening letters for leins on my property and that they would stop penalty’s on the amount that I owed. None of that is true. My tax bill has increased since they have been on my case. I have no documentation that they have done anything on my case except file for power of attorney,I was told that they didn’t even send out receipts of my payments until I complained that I needed something for my records. I also complained about having so many different case managers. I talked to a supervisor about getting a refund because I felt like it was false advertising to say that they would stop letters of collection and penalties if I sent the money quickly. Also that the offer of compromise would happen as soon as they get the next payment which also didn’t happen. After I stated my case to the supervisor she said that they had a tape of the conversation that I had with them and the person who I talked to did indeed mislead me and the person would be dealt with. At first they offered that I didn’t have to pay the remainder of the bill which I declined then she offered to give back last payment that I payed which I also didn’t accept. I told her that I should at least get half of my money which was close to 2000 dollars. She admitted that what they told me wasn’t the full truth. All they have done is caused my tax bill to go up and to put Ideal tax as my power of attorney. I called the irs and they haven’t did anything on my behalf. I think they owe me half at least for not doing what they said they would. I had to set up a payment plan myself with the irs . Ideal tax told me to ask them to drop the penalties which they wouldn’t all that accurred while they was supposed to have been stopped. I feel that they didn’t stand by what they told me.

Thank you for taking the time to address your issues with us. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. We would like to address to you that we have indeed been working on your case and that getting an Offer in Compromise is not a simple and quick process. The Offer Review Process with the IRS can take anywhere from 6-12 months to complete. We just simply have not had enough time yet to complete your case. Unfortunately, after further review on your financials it was determined that you can longer be a good OIC candidate as further assets and equity was later brought to our attention after the initial investigation on your case. We do apologize for this, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do to change your financial situation with the IRS so that you may still qualify for an OIC. As far as the refund, a manager was corresponding with you to accommodate your request. However, you informed her that you were not satisfied with the outcome of the refund. Again, we do apologize on the outcome of your case and we wish that we could be able to keep you as a satisfied client. If you wish to work with us directly on this matter, please give us a call at your earliest convenience.

I was told on the first day that I qualified for the oic, now that I have payed you 2,000 dollar you are now saying that I don’t qualify. I have a letter from Mandy that says that I will be protected from IRS which haven’t happened. I have gotten three letters from the Irs saying that the are going to put a lien on my property if I do pay my tax bill that has only gone up since you took my case. I feel like you ripped me off because everything I was told about stopping collections from the irs is not true. You should tell people up front that it’s go take 6-12 months to solve your case. I was not told any of this until after I complained about about my taxes going up and felt that you lied to me. I think that I should be half of my money back because now you are saying I don’t qualify. Wish you would have told me before you took my money for doing nothing but become my POA. You have only made my situation more stressful than before. I could have done the oic myself and it wouldn’t have cost me over 2,000.

I do not accept the response that Ideal tax sent about second complaint.I have tried several times to speak to someone at IDTS and they tell me that their supervisor is out to lunch on not in and that they will have them call me.I have not heard from IDTS. I paid IDTS $995.00 after they told me that they could solve my tax debt and that I wouldn’t get any demands on my property from the IRS or pay any penalties, two weeks later they will call you to talk to your case manager and tell you everything is going fine but need to send $500.00 more dollars because I have been approved for the offer in compromise. A few weeks later they come back and say that they need $2,500 to finish your case and you can set up payment plan to pay the rest. After demanding that they show me something that are working on my case they started giving me the run around saying that it’s takes 6-12 months to finish my case. I call the Irs and they told me that IDTS could not speak on my behalf that they could only look at my tax returns and that they could not stop collections and leins on my property. Ideal tax Solutions lied to me when they said they could. I have gotten a letter from the I Ed saying IDTS is no longer my power of Attorney. I paid I deal Tax solutions over $2,000 dollars to do nothing but cause my tax bill to go up.I think I deserve most of my money back because they lied time after time.they offered me only 200.00 which I did not accept something should be done about this business for ripping people off I would advise anyone to stay away from this company it is Fraud. You have my number if you really want to work something out give me a call since you won’t return mine.ideal tax knows that they lied to me I would appreciate if you do the right thing and resolve this. The case is not closed for me!!

Only giving this company 1 star because I have to in order to write a review!! I was lied to from the start, I paid over $3500 and all I got was a payment plan which I already was on before I hired them. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else or call the IRS yourself!

SCAM SCAM SCAM
Look at the names versus emails they send.

Telephonic harrassment! I am on the do not contact list, owe no back taxes and have requested via phone and email to be removed from their call list to no avail. I still receive at least 2 calls a week from this company.

Already was paying $200.00 installment to the IRS, but after my bill increased. I contacted IDEAL TAX SOLUTION to get help from them. They told me they would help me resolve ,reduce or get me into the fresh start program. That was July 2018. After talking to several operators, I got a call FEB.21,2019 telling me that they got me a installment payment of 400.00 and that's all I got after paying this company $3000.00. The operator told me that I should have been told from the start that this was not guaranteed but that was never told to me.

Thank you for taking the time to address your issues with us. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. We would like to address your concerns regarding the Installment Agreement we are attempting to negotiate with the IRS on your behalf. After our initial Investigation into your case in July 2018, our Tax Professionals concluded that you still indeed qualified for an Installment Agreement at that point. When you enrolled in our Resolution Phase in August 2018, we began work to immediately file your unfiled Tax Return so that we can bring your IRS Tax Account into compliance with all filings requirements. We then reviewed your IRS case for possible Tax Return Amendments for the last 5 years to correct any possible errors in previously filed Tax Returns. Additionally, we reviewed your IRS case for possible Penalty Abatements to remove Penalties the IRS may have assessed against you. After all review and compliance requirements were completed, we began our Negotiation process with the IRS. Your financial profile (Monthly Income Versus Expenses) is crucial for us at this point as we use this information as grounds to negotiate on your behalf. After filing your missing Tax Returns, new significant IRS tax balances were assessed and as such those new balances would need to be included in any resolution we approach the IRS with. Therefore, our Tax Professionals have made a preliminary agreement with the IRS including your new total overall Tax Liability which is why any new Installment Agreement put in place would increase your monthly installments. We strongly encourage you to contact our Offices Right Away to discuss this matter with you over the phone so we can remedy this issue as well as make your experience with Ideal Tax Solution a positive one. To discuss this matter please give us a call Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm pacific standard. Please do not hesitate to contact Ideal Tax Solution with any questions. Thank you.

I paid ideal tax solution a total of $3190. I owed the IRS almost 38k and I don't make that much money but the kind tax consultant I was speaking to broke my fee into payments I could afford. In the end, they got me qualified for the offer in compromise. My debt dropped down to $2500!
I definitely recommend ideal to those like me who owe the IRS and can't afford to pay them.

I contacted Ideal Tax Solution with a tax debt situation. I spoke with a Mr. and was told they could stop collections and resolve my debt. After two weeks I was told they were ready to move forward. I had questions regarding what they had done with my case since I had not received any correspondence. I’ve hired attorneys before and would receive a copy of all correspondence and communication done on my behalf. Not once did Ideal Tax Solution provide me with any notifications of their work. Mr. told me that they had gotten a stay but the POA was gonna run out in 72 hours if I did not give them more money. He also told me any previous correspondence with the IRS was invalid because he IRS lies. Numerous “red flags” came up during our conversation. The threat of an IRS revenue agent “with a gun and a badge” would get my case and the only way to stop them was through Ideal Tax Solution!

I informed them I would have an answer in the morning. I then called the IRS myself. I reviewed my situation with them, including the dealing with ITS! The IRS told me that ITS had filed a POA with them but it only allowed them to review my situation. They did not have any power to act on my behalf. The IRS reported that they cannot lie when working with a tax payer. My situation was not as dire as I was lead to believe. I was able to do to stop collection activity and was able to solve my situation in about two hours. They advised me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, which I intend to do.

I recieved a call from ITS this morning and was told I had violated my contract by calling the IRS myself. I believe they do this to prevent people from checking out their claims. I informed the man at ITS that it was my account and I controlled my account. He said that “moving forward” we could suffer some issues because the IRS lies! I told him I would not be moving forward with them and I felt like they ripped me off. I was interrupted and told “now you’re getting negative” and hung

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards

I signed up this their services. $995 was scheduled to be debited from my account on July 13, 2018. Well they debit from my account on Jul 5, 2018. Which put my account in the negative and now I am getting hit with all these over draft fees.

I owed irs x amount of dollars. I paid ideal 3300 dollars to reduce my taxes. They tell me there doing all this work to save me money and the outcome I get is a monthly installment plan and I still owe the same amount of money to the irs. I could have set payments up for free myself. I have demanded a refund. When I made the first call to set up the plan I asked them if the irs would ask about my 401 k and she told me they wouldn't and that was not true. Oh and if you didn't know. The irs will ask about your 401k. I'm know tax guy, but I told ideal tax from the beginning that the irs were going to attempt to go after my 401 k. I am just sick over this. I have been out of work for 2 months and now im working and they set me up on a 230 a month payment plan. What a joke. I am currently trying to get a refund from them right now. Do not deal with this company!!!!!!!
