Ideal Dental Of New Braunfels

I’ve been to Ideal Dental for previous dental visits so when it was time to get my wisdom teeth out I scheduled the procedure with them. They verified my insurance coverage prior to the procedure and I was expecting to pay just under $1200 out of pocket which was paid before services were rendered.

I just received a collections notice for an additional $993 in February 2020. I didn’t even know I had an outstanding balance! I never received any calls, letters, emails, regarding a balance or this would’ve been taken care of a long time ago as this procedure happened in May 2019. I sure did receive plenty of texts and emails telling me to schedule another appointment in during that time though!

Ideal Dental is an In-network facility but was unknowingly seen by an out of network provider for this procedure.

I did my due diligence and was deceived by this facility.

The care I received post procedure was awful which is why I stopped going back. Now I come to find out my credit score took a hit on top of the bad experience I had with them.
