bike and vendor was calledWe were toldthe vendor had sold out of the right part and would send as soon as their stockwas resupplied and that information was relayed to Customer, who decided not towait for the part and took his bike backHe was told to come back (as noted inhis complaint) and the stator came the following day from the *** vendorCustomer did NOT returnor contact Maxim CycleThe stator sat on owner's desk for a week before it was sent back to vendor fora refund, less 10% for restocking.Customer did sign the work invoice order that specificallystates that removal of fairings is extra labor and that "if I cancelrepairs prior to their completion for any reason, a teardown and reassembly feeof $____ will be applied." Maxim Cycle labor charged $an hour for adiagnosis of Customer's bike and because his bike required additional time forremoving and replacing the fairings he was charged a second fee of $62.50(adjusted to $31.25)Maxim Cycle agrees Customer is entitled to a refund less10% for restocking fee but must pay for the diagnosis and labor to remove andreplace his fair that were required to be able to service the bike.
