advised at the time of purchase, that alterations are done by appointment only and are a separate fee which you are not disputing. You came in for your appointment, as scheduled, on 03/**/17. The alteration began the second we started pinning out the entire dress which entailed pinning out two full layers of the hem and the shoulder straps. You also requested that the dress be tapered to contour to your daughter's stomach and hip areas. Additionally, the two sides and back seams were also pinned out. This work was performed in front of you. It required a lot of work and time to do this. When the prep work was completed, you were advised the total cost of the alteration came to $230.00 plus tax. You advised us that you did not have the funds to cover the fees at that time, knowing in advance that there was a fee for the alterations and stated you would come in to pay it so the dress could be completed, in a few days which you did not.On 3/**/17 you called, stating that you did not want us to do the alteration. You were informed that as part of the work was already done, you would owe a $50.00 balance for the pinning (which is the prep work done before it can be completed.) The dress remains pinned as per your instructions. The dress may be picked up upon receipt of balance due: $50.00 for the work done so far. Thank-you.
