We do not have any other documents beside the contract and the copy of the check that we signed for deposit

Review: We contracted with Mr. [redacted] to build a bathroom addition in our home: [redacted]. The general agreement was that Mr. [redacted] would draw, design and build a 2nd bath for us at our property: [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] provided us with a rough sketch draft of the new addition, which was inconsistent with what we asked. Similarly, we have asked him to provide us with proper timelines as to when the bathroom addition is to be completed. Since the agreement of the contract dated: July 26, 2015 to current it is our opinion that Mr. [redacted] has failed to hold up his end of the agreement, thus we are requesting that he returns our deposit of $1000. In the specific contract, Mr. [redacted] has failed to comply with Paragraph A, subsection 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 of the contract. It's our opinion that Mr. [redacted] never really intended to complete this project and we want our deposit back. We are requesting your assistance in helping us obtain our deposit as Mr.[redacted] has failed to honor his commitment. Please help us.
