Review: I had purchased a [redacted] for an IWishLessons Sushi making class for 4 people. I had not been notified by [redacted] how long I had to wait for the class to be available. I purchased the [redacted] on October 23, 2012. It is now almost the end of February and the classes are still not available. The other 3 people who told me they were interested in the class are no longer interested. Now I am stuck with the 3 seats and I have to cover the bill. I had asked [redacted] to refund my purchase but they said they don't refund anything after 7 days. The problem with that is how was I supposed to know that it would take IWishLessons to take more than 7 days to create the class? Also, [redacted] stated that they could help if the business isn't cooperating. I have emailed IWishLessons many times but they refuse to give me any information about the class and refuse to refund my money.Desired Settlement: I just want my refund either from [redacted] or IWishLessons. I haven't taken the class(obviously since they haven't offered it yet) so I don't see a reason why the refund should be a problem.
Review: On March 28, 2012, my boyfriend and I attended a cooking class with I Wish Lessons. We were pleased with the class and each decided to pay a $45 promotional rate for two additional classes. He paid by credit card; I paid by check. After several attempts to schedule the follow-up classes we requested a refund on October 3, 2012. We were notified the request had been sent to the Accounts Receivable Department and that the process could take 4-6 weeks. Over the past eight months I have sent a series of follow-up emails (no phone number for the business is available) requesting the refund. On March 11, 2013 I informed customer service that I would be submitting a complaint to Revdex.com if we did not receive our refunds within 4-6 weeks. Below is a timeline of my correspondence with I Wish Lessons. I have electronic documentation of this correspondence, should it be necessary.
March 28, 2012 - attended first class and paid $45 each for two additional classes
April 26, 2012 - request payment confirmation and class schedule
May 16, 2012 - request sent to sign up for first class (never attended)
June 17, 2012 - request made to attend August class
July 10, 2012 - request (again made) to attend August class (later received notice that the class would not take place)
August 8, 2012 - request made for either class confirmation or refund
October 3, 2012 - refund requested via check for both of us
December 1, 2012 - request updated timeline for refund checks
December 11, 2012 - request updated timeline for refund checks
January 15, 2013 - request refund checks
January 30, 2013 - request refund checks
February 1, 2013 - request refund checks
February 5, 2013 - submitted required information (mailing address, date of initial purchase, etc.) for refund checks
February 20, 2013 - request updated timeline for refund checks
March 11, 2013 - request refund checks and notification that I'd be contacting Revdex.com if necessaryDesired Settlement: We would like to each receive the $45 reimbursement that we were offered and requested over eight months ago.
