We regret the difficulty that Mr [redacted] has had getting his GAP cancelled Due to our experiencing an unusually high turnover in our Finance Department this cancellation fell through the cracks. We have in fact cancelled the Gap policy and did receive notice from the Gap company on June 6, as to the amount of refund due to the customer This refund amount was $(and was retroactive to the original March cancellation date.) We did cut Mr [redacted] a check in that amount on the 6th of June even though we have not received the refund amount from the GAP company as of yet We did not want Mr [redacted] to wait any longer

When Ms [redacted] came in and spoke with our salesperson ( [redacted] ) she informed him that she did have a vehicle that was available for trade However, it did not run and she still owed a considerable amount of money When obtaining financing for her, due to her credit, the Lender we were able to obtain for her would not allow a trade that had negative equity, which would raise the amount to be financed and would put her over the limit the Lender was willing to finance for her She signed the document attached, which shows no trade None of the other documents signed for the loan showed a trade Each document was explained at the time she came in to accept delivery of the new vehicle, which is a standard requirement for our Finance DepartmentOur salesperson and Finance Manager did explain to her that in order to obtain financing they would not be able to utilize her vehicle as a trade in as this was not available with this Lender due to the negative equity. When contacted by Ms [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] told her that as we had not used her vehicle as a trade we would have no reason to tow it in

None of the phone numbers in the address line of the complaint are in our system. We have instructed the direct mail company to remove the address from the mail list. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Customer purchased on March 14, 2917 and returned on April 22, 2017 well beyond any policy period or return period. In spite of the lateness of his compalint we offered $500 as a final and complete good will gesture. We also provided him with the CarFax report showing that there wasn't any body...
damage noted. It is our position that we have gone above and beyond any reasonable expectation to resolve this matter.
I do want an apology and acknowledgement of the deceitful business this company practices. Tried to call the owner this week but the receptionist said he was out all week.[redacted]
Ms. [redacted], We diligently practice price transparency on line as well as on our showroom. We clearly...
state in our online vehicle descriptions “THE PRICE DOES NOT REFLECT ANY DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONS OR ACCESSORIES. SEE DEALER FOR DETAILS.” We prominently display on the front windshield passenger side the addendum which list the APEX security charge for $1,995. This system is pre-loaded on all retail vehicles we sell in order to protect our inventory and is not an item that we can remove. In most cases the APEX charge is much less than $1,995 due to all our vehicles being sold well under the suggested retail price. The consumer benefits from the APEX by having GPS theft recovery capability and also should receive an insurance discount that also pays for the system. In regards to payments being mentioned in our advertising we should include disclaimers but don’t always. If there are any additional questions you may have please feel free to contact me. Regards,[redacted]Dealer Principal

I am rejecting this response because: I was never informed that my trade wasn't accepted. My sales person never told me that information. I only found out recently when I finally got [redacted] on the phone, wondering why they had not come to get the car. Neither [redacted] nor the finance manager told me. I would not have signed a new contract without trading my old car in. That's why I went there. I did sign the document because I did not know. When I signed the contract, my husband and I already were paying 2 car payments, I would not get a third. That doesn't make sense. I am going to try to get phone documents that show I had been trying to contact someone concerning this. They never informed me before I signed and it's not right.
Sincerely,
