I hired Jacob Hyde to help me through a family law trial that I was involved with a couple of weeks agoHe helped me through the process and said he would prepare for the case and meet me on the court date in courthouse in Georgetown, TXThe day arrives and Jacob doesn't show up to the trialHe leaves me stranded wondering what is going on, completely confused as to whether or not my lawyer, to whom I've agreed to pay $1,800, is going to even SHOW UPHe claims he had car trouble that day and couldn't make it, which I doubt altogetherHow hard is it to take a cab or find a ride? It's absolutely ridiculous that he couldn't show upThe court date was reset and the trial was dismissed before the court date arrived, which he claims was completely his doingI asked for a reduced fee considering he didn't show up and we never even met in personHe refused claiming that he "performed his services" and "negotiated" so well and delivered the best possible outcome, which is the dismissalThis lack of decency is completely appallingI would stay far away from Jacob Hyde if you're seeking legal counselHe is completely incompetent and possesses a complete lack of characterDO NOT HIRE JACOB HYDE
