My husband and I had had our taxes done by Joe H[redacted] for the 2014 tax season. This CPA failed to do his job which has now resulted in us owing the IRS over 1400.00. We provided all paperwork and even went as far as having a long conversation with this gentleman. We explained the situation to him and as far as we knew he understood. He didn't ask the proper questions nor did he file the correct paperwork. After confronting this CPA, his resolution was to offer 38$ for the penalties that have occurred over the two years. My husband and I DO NOT think that this was the proper resolution. We go to professionals to get our taxes done, however, this "professional" obviously did not know what he is doing. The sad thing is, he is still practicing.
