I am rejecting this response because: The ambulance personnel were under no direction from the physician. I explained to him an [redacted] was just done and he told me he wanted one of his own. This was not directed in any way. In terms of the rates being allowed I would say just because your allowed to charge excessive rates by law does not make it any less morally reprehensible. I'm guessing your not a non profit organization. None of my concerns were addressed in this response.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: On 4/16 I went to a walk in clinic because I thought I had a case of bronchitus. After being evaluated I was told they want to send me to teh hospital for a [redacted] and that I should go by ambulence. They had already called. Before I knew it I was being whisked away by 2 guys and placed in teh ambulance. While in the ambulance the worker took and [redacted]. I explained they had just taken one 5 minutes agao and it was normal. He said he wanted one of his own. The hospital is in the same town as the walk in and took approximately 3 minutes to arrive. While I was waiting in the ER in a room I saw the 2 drivers come back 3 more times in the next 2 hours. I recieved a bill for approximately $1200. The insurance paid $586.71. I thought (Not bad for 10 minutes work). They want $530 more from me now. I sent a letter disputing teh aggregious charges and the fact that I thought the bill had been "run up" a bit. They never responded and now have sent me to collections.Desired Settlement: I am willing to pay $200 to settle. I want the remainder written off as it's proposterous that a 3 minute ride costs $1200. Even if you guys make $100 per hours this is ridiculous. Your supposed to be in this business because you want to help people not screw them.
