I am rejecting this response because:Tommy who was an employee there had informed me that I would receive two items off the menu at no cost to meIf the employee of Hunan palace had tasted the food they served me they would agree that the food was unacceptable Tommy said I would be compensated, which I was not I would like my money back at this pointI understand every company has an off day, but I never want to do business with a company who treats their long time customers this way
Transcribed by BBB Employee:The consumer called in to order (2) orders of sesame chicken (which supposedly wasn't very good). He called back the next day or two and spoke with one of our employees, but not sure what the conversation was. About a week later, the consumer called in to... place an order for something else on our menu (more expensive). When he came in to pick up the order, he indicated he wanted it for free. We said why and he explained because awhile back when he ordered sesame chicken it was bad. I told him, why didn't you tell me that when you called in the order so we could have had a discussion about it and I would have been able to find out what had happened. But he just came into the store asking to have the order for free. We have been in business for over 20 years. We put the customer first, but they need to be upfront with us about things. Why didn't he return the food the night he ordered it if it was bad, so that we could have looked into it at that time?We will not be offering a refund.
