Please be aware that I had various crews go over to address the issues [redacted] had with his driveway.First thing was we did an infared repair and opened the driveway in areas where it was lifted.  The heaving was caused by the adjacent Locust tree roots which we dug out over 10” beneath the...

driveway surface.  I showed the homeowner how need roots had developed from the existing therefore causing the driveway to heave.  We mended the hot asphalt for a seamless repair. I then hired a tree company to come out and grind down the roots behind the existing Belgian block to try to avoid future issues.  This type of tree is notorious for having root systems that try to surface.  I am hoping that this will help with the possibilities of  future occurrences.  I did also express my concern to the homeowner with regards to taking the tree down.  It is definitely going to happen again if not removed. Finally, I had a sealcoat crew go over to seal the driveway for a uniform look.Attached are some pics we took of the work performed for the client.Please feel free to reach me with any further questions you may have.
