Hudson Valley Ceremonies

Review: I hired this vendor to conduct day-of coordination for my wedding. [redacted] was assigned to me. I had given [redacted] specific instructions regarding vendors and décor, but I was just around the corner in the venue’s bridal suite the entire day in case she had any questions. My biggest problem arose with the company that was hired to install pipe and drape to two walls in the ballroom. It was pretty obvious which two walls, but there was some confusion on the part of the workers, and they asked [redacted] for clarification. Let me add that she had called all my vendors in advance to tell them that she was the “go-to” person for the event. That was fine, until she made the executive decision to only drape one of the two walls without asking me first. The problem is that I paid in full for two walls prior to the event. I noticed that only one wall was draped during my reception and when I asked [redacted] about this, she played dumb. Now the pipe and drape company is refusing to refund the money for the undraped wall, claiming that the person in charge ([redacted]) approved that decision. Also, the undraped wall looked terrible. I decided to give [redacted] the benefit of the doubt and hear her side of the story, but she has not returned any of my phone calls, text messages, nor emails. I contacted Hudson Valley Ceremonies, and they too have ignored me. Because of them, I am out of $768. I have not received an explanation nor an apology.
