I have been trying to get my wheelchair repaired by them since July *** - I have sent multiple complaint letters as I feel very let down I bought a manual Quickie II from them in At the time, they promised at home repairs which may take as long as two weeks to complete Now, I had to send them a letter of need from my doctor, a prescription from my doctor, and I explained that the poor condition of my chair had caused me to become house bound Just got off the phone with them today and they claimed they hadn't received my doctor's faxes After my doctor called, they magically appeared
Again, I was greeted with the familiar refrain that they no longer service my area unless there are multiple wheelchairs to fix This is indeed a problem on many levels since I am the only wheelchair bound person in my area, and there is no where for me to to get my chair fixed locally!
If you are in Suffolk County like me, please avoid getting your chair from them as I do not want you to be stuck like me
