My son went to have his taxes done. A very simple w.2 with no tax liability. He is supposed to get back $1260.00 minus the cost of his tax preparation. He came home and told me that after doing his whole tax refund visit he was told he was getting back $150.00 and told them they are wrong and ripped up his tax form. That office wanted to charge a 17 yr old over $900.00 to file a quick w.2 talk about highway robbery. I'm an accountant and called that office and chewed them a new [censor] . For one he is a fulltime student and a minor. I told my kid I would file for him for free but you know teens they just want to do what they want. Again dad saved his [censor] from predatory ss willing to take advantage of a kid. Shame on you h&r block for hiring such [censor] losers.
