Review: I had selected this business to create a e commerce website for me. I clearly stated my budget and was told that they would create the website and write the content for that price. Once I agreed they asked for the payment in full because they said it was less than they normally charge. I agreed and they quickly put up a template then told me to write the content myself. I have no experience and their response was to call me and tell me how. When I asked where other features they originally promised were they demanded more money and came to my doorstep with no notice looking for a check. Multiple feature never worked including the most important of the shopping cart and checkout. Even small tweaks I asked for to improve functionality were never made. It was soon clear that they had never made a store website and I asked for my money back after being extremely patient with them for almost 2 years waiting for them to figure out how to make the site work. They promised a full refund and never made it right. I called and was lied to multiple times including by their lawyer. I will be taking them to court. I hope no one else falls for their lies as they are not forthcoming about their abilities nor the status of their company as I later found out they were also hacked and nearly shut down but never informed their customers which shows gross neglect as who knows what information was retrieved and in jeopardy.Desired Settlement: I want the full refund of $2,225.00 remaining although they have made it clear that they have no intention of doing so.

Response:
I have not taken this company to court yet. I have tried to contact them and they promised a full refund in one weka time. That was the first week of march. Then they gave me a partial payment with a promissory note in June. The note stated a lawyers name and phone number and said he had been forwarded the note as well. When payment wasn't made for July I contacted him in August and he said he was unaware of the situation and not retained by this company. After calling their bluff I was told he had been retained and had a payment for me which he claims he did not have. After further phone calls the lawyer said he would make up a document that would accompany payment if I signed that I would not take them to court. No document was received so I called back and the lawyer said he would be in touch. Now he doesn't answer his calls and [redacted] from hPublish claims the lawyer holds funds and the document. When I informed him that he is not answering or contacting me he did not respond.
