I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
I feel that the business response is in very bad formI did not know the policy and it is well within their ability to remove this chargeThey should make sure they make their customers fully aware of a policy before charging such an excessive amount for a missed appointmentIt further shows how little they think of a customer who has been going there a long timeThis business is not in the business of customer service, but out for how much money they can try and squeeze out of people and especially when they know that the customer won't be coming back

I am responding to complaint #[redacted]. Our office required at least a 24 hour notice for cancellations. We understand things happen and we are also very willing to accommodate our patient’s needs. I had left Ms [redacted] a message stating that she had missed her appointment and that we would have to...

reschedule and that she would be assessed a $50 failed appointment fee. Ms [redacted] had also failed a previous appointment a few weeks prior that we offered to reschedule at no fee as a courtesy. We also do confirmation calls 48 hrs before their appointments to insure enough time for them to cancel or reschedule. We state this on our appointment cards as well as our website to please give 24 hour notice, otherwise a charge may be incurred.
