I am in receipt of complaint ID# [redacted]. This complaint is in regards to an attempt by [redacted] (customer) to return a sling. Upon investigation and interviewing the involved employees, I was told the packaging had been torn open and was now unsalable. However, we have just...
called Ms [redacted] and told her that she may bring in the sling and the packaging and receive a refund. Thank You Ray Pantalena
Review: My husband purchased an arm sling at Howe's Drug Store for his upcoming shoulder surgey. After trying it on the sling was too big so he asked me to exchange it for him. The product was in its original packaging which was not torn or damaged, and I had the reciept. When I attempted to exchange it for a smaller size I was told that they do not do exchanges on this product. I then asked for a refund but again was told they do not do refunds. The cashier told me that their refund/exchange policy is printed on the reciept, but it is not. I do not understand how a store can refuse to exchange or refund the purchase price on a product that has not been used or damged when the consumer has the reciept. I will NEVER do business with Howe's again and if they refuse to do refunds or exchanges, then it should be printed on the reciept as the cashier stated. I am now out $45.00 and stuck with an arm sling that is useless. I would like a refund of this purchase, but even if I do receive a refund I am still never going to Howe's again.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the purchase price, and I would love it if Howe's would correct their return/exchange policy. $45.00 may not be alot of money to some people but for a vast majority of the sick or elderly it is.
