Review: My daughter applied for admissions to Howard University in the Fall of last year (2012). She was accepted but due to a late response from the school, she was unable to attend. I was able to get her into another school that also accepted her, but had to scramble to come up with the admissions and housing fees. We had already submitted the admissions and housing fees to Howard, thinking that everything was fine and that she wwould be attending there. After we found out that things were not fine, I sent an email correspondence to the school ([redacted]) requesting refund of these fees. My request was granted and after a period of time, I was refunded the admissions fee. I have yet to receive the housing fee and it's been almost a year. I attempted to contact [redacted] via telephone and email. I eventually heard back from him via email and he reassured me that I would receive the refund, then copied [redacted] to start the refund process. To this day, I have not heard nor received anything.Desired Settlement: I would like to close out this chapter and move on. I want the school to honor what they said and refund the housing fee.
