Within 30 days that I bought the vehicle, the transmission was found to be bad but dealer will not fix it, he said it had to be a complete failurePurchase Date:2/16/14,Vehicle model: 2005 Chevrolet Venture (Van), miles on vehicle: XXXXXX, Sales price: $2,300 and payment made with a check. 30 days or 1000 miles warranty which includes: engine and transmission complete failure. We drove the car away since we had the warranty and took it for a mechanical check. The first mechanic check flushed the transmission because it was very dirty and then we took it to a transmission specialist because when we bought there was a disturbing noise that we continue to hear and wanted to get rid off and that was when the mechanic said it was the transmission that was bad. We took the vehicle back to the [redacted] (car dealer) within the 30 days and told him about the transmission issue but his response was that it was not a complete failure and as such, he would not fix it. I wonder if he knew the transmission was bad when he sold the vehicle to us and that was why he wrote in the agreement that it had to be a complete transmission failure. Because there is no where someone would buy a vehicle with a complete failure. We have made lots of other repairs but only asked him to fix the transmission.
