I had my windshield replaced by this company in August of On my receipt it states "Affordable Auto Glass offers a limited Lifetime warrantee for leakage and workmanship, rust, corrosion and body damage void warrantee" The gasket on the bottom of the windshield has become disconnected from the windshield on the drivers side of the vehicle I have tried to work with Pat to get this fixed since last year and have failed due to his combative communication and unwillingness to schedule a time to fix it He refused to set up an appointment with me and instead wanted me to call him on a daily basis to see where he was located so that I could drive to his job and meet him He is extremely difficult to work with
Owner complained about how overworked he is - "hours a day" - and that our phone call to simply ask a question about the gasket around the new windshield interrupted his "beer." He took a very defensive tone on the phone and completely flew off the handle - "so I suppose you want your money back!" - when all we wanted for him was to take a look at what we were referring to and let us know if it would be a problem He reluctantly agreed to meet us to look at it and then proceeded to say that our question was "stupid" to him Completely insulting and could care less if he offended his "stupid" customers who he told several stories about how nasty some of his customers were He also gouged us on the minutes of additional work he did to "prep" & grind off failed primer" - wanted to charge $additional, but said $was "his bottom line" and that he normally doesn't come down to that When I asked if he would be putting down a tarp or something when he did the grinding he said, "I usually don't do that." I offered him a tarp, but his helper managed to find a drop cloth in their van and laid it down on the dash The metal debris that came from the grinding still made a mess inside the car and would have went into the vents causing additional problems if I wouldn't have asked that he cover it He also can't add and overcharged us on the final amount, which this "stupid" customer failed to notice before writing out the check I pray that the windshield he put in doesn't leak, because we are not confident that he will stand behind his "warranty" based on his negative approach to just a simple question This business is neither affordable nor customer service oriented, and because he's so busy "it doesn't matter" to him whether or not he offends or takes advantage of unsuspecting customers He has a 50% negative rating and now we know why Hopefully folks will look here before they hire this guy who obviously has been in the business way too long
I had this company replace my windshield two yrs ago and the gasket on the bottom of the windshield is coming off I called the number from my invoice and spoke to Pat He was the most insulting and rude individual I have ever worked with He was more interested in arguing with me as to wether or not this was their problem, (it's been yrs you know) I finally had enough of his rudeness and asked if he was the owner of the company No, he replied "Why do you want to get him involved", he said? Because I certainly wasn't happy with how I was being treated, I said After a few more minutes of rudeness, I again asked for the Owners information and was told that I don't need that He refused to provided me with this info and I ended the call by hanging up on him and stated I would find the owners information another way He then had the nerve to call me back several times as I wound not answer his call He finally left me a voicemail stating how rude I was! Unbelievable! His message also stated that he would meet me somewhere to take a look at my car I don't think so buddy!
my experience with this company was very positiveprice wise he was the lowest and seems very knowledgeable over the phonehe was able to get my windshield replaced the next day while I was at workany company is able to to this, but what made this a positive experience was that the windshield was defectiveall companies run into the occasional problem, I want to know that if those problems occur they are able to be dealt with professionally and on timethis is exactly what I got with affordable auto glasshe came to look at the problem the next day and had a new windshield ordered and installed within a few daysexactly what I was looking forthank you again
They came to install a windshield in a bmwWhen they got here they did not have the correct molding for that vehicle like they were supposed toHe showed me a universal molding that was supposed to work and from the small spot where they showed me it looked okHowever the next day when I removed the tape it looked absolutely nothing like what they showed me and also the windshield sits way lower than the old one and you can barely see the vin number I called to see what could be done and he told me it was my faultOnce I convinced him to come look at it he told me it was fineAfter talking with him and explaining to him that it is a high end car and unacceptable we agreed that I would purchase the correct molding and he would come back to where he installed it and fix itAfter receiving the new molding I called him to let him know and he tells me that its my fault, refuses to fix it, hung up on me, and will not answer my phone call
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGER Did not follow policies and procedures of Orbitz Very condescending to me as a customer Constantly interrupted and would not listen, hung up on me several times as well as hung up on the Orbitz rep calling on my behalf Refused to hold my room after a technicality on his end Would not deal with this hotel or manager if it were the only hotel Physical site is dump and should probably be inspected by Public Health at the very least Word to the wise...DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
