First, when I received the call the spokesperson claimed that he had a special discount that I was eligible to apply to my electric bill This is blatant misinformation The organization is a broker selling a product in the form of electric service They then stated " you arent changing your power company" repeatedly referencing PPL This is also a lie The were changing my power company, just only one aspect of it Lastly they lead me down this rabbit whole without disclosing anything that asked me to agree to terms One of these terms was a quote that this was the "best rate" for me I have days to undo the offer guess what! They are 20% higher than the median offers I am finding There are other dishonest things as well Like they send me an email, but it has no information on it like for instance my agreement and confirmation number If they are taking the time to do that, they should included relevant information But I believe they are hoping to make it almost impossible for people to cancel short of a court summons
