House of Diamonds Dance Center

Review: The House of Diamonds Dance Team director is a bad representation of conducting a business for young teens girls. She has no compassion for kids and also is very bad with money management. In the beginning of the season (Aug/Sept) there was a parents meeting to discuss uniform packages which was a total of $3XX.XX she told the parents they would be split into (3) installments each installment would have an order placed of items the dancer needs. To date I still have not received my items that I paid for, and I received an email stating that I would not be receiving a refund because they were custom ordered. But I have not received anything and at this time I do not wish to have the items because my dancer is not dancing for team any longer. In addition, the director talks about parents personal business to other parents, there were practices cancelled with no prior notifications, the lights were turned off at the studio with NO notification to parents, there were grants (rumored) to have been given to director for studio for floors and remodeling and studio was still in natural state with parents putting in hard work and dedication to paint the studio. Dancers fund-raised on several occasions without knowledge of amount funds or where funds was used for. All in all my daughter has built a sister hood with her teammates and now she is forced to either not dance or find alternative solutions because of the lack in professionalism of the director. If you are looking for a dance team for your daughter, I would advise you not to look into this team. BEWARE!!!!!! You are going to regret it!!! You will get a whole heap of excuses and the director has NO compassion or sympathy for anything or anybodyDesired Settlement: I would like my money back. We already had a parents meeting and she stated that she was not giving any refunds. So I will be contacting my lawyer for further actions. Just wanted to warn other parents.
