HOTWORX

I have a friend that goes to Hotworx and I wanted to give it a go. I seen a page on Facebook for a new facility opening SOON only 1/2 mi away from my home so I immediately clicked on it! I was called in about an hour after clicking and told the place would be opening soon but since it wasn't open yet, they were offering a great discounted price of $5 activation fee and $39.99/mo forever! I wanted to jump on the opportunity. I made an appt with the gal on the phone for 4:00 Friday (4 days after the phone call). I was so excited, I had the friend take me to a class or 2 to make sure I was able to be in the hot sauna and be ok. I even got online and purchased a Yoga Mat! I was READY to get in there and lose some weight! Well... I went to my "appt" on Friday which was under tents in the parking lot. I was a bit confused because I was told it was going to be open in about 3 weeks (end of June), so I figued maybe only the sauna's werent ready yet, but NO, the entire place wasnt' ready yet. I sit with a gal and tell her I was there for my 4:00 Appt, she acted and treated me like I was someone who just drove up and decided to get out and see what was going on. I told her I had already spoke with someone on the phone and that I had an "appt" to JOIN. As I was sitting there, I was listenening to a man (about 70 Years old) asking his person about the room, about the videos, about the music on the videos, etc... I told my person, why doesn't she just show this man the videos you have on your web page so he knows what your talking about? I am positive he had no idea what he was getting into and when I voiced my opinion loudly, his hotworx person just ignored me as did the gal I was talking to. (? NOT good service if you ask me for an elderly man to receive about this place). But, back to me... So, my hotworx rep continues with what they off of a brochure, and tells me that I could join today for $44.99. I told her "NO, I have an appt TODAY to JOIN TODAY FOR $39.99", she says they are "sold out" of those amounts. REALLY? I told her NO, I was only there for that price!, she clicks and clicks and then tells me ok, I could join at that price. Then informs me the place WOULD NOT BE OPEN FOR 3 MONTHS "HOPEFULLY"! 3 MONTHS?! I was told about 3 weeks! I asked if I could join and then go to another facility to get started on my Hotworx Journey, she said only if I paid another facility's initiation fee ($99) AND THEIR MONTHLY AMOUT OF $59.99! I was not happy about this, but was still considering joining, thinking I could go to the gym I was a member of but hadnt' been going to until this one opened...Then, she asked for 2 forms of payment..."IN CASE ONE WAS LOST OR STOLEN"... what? I said, i'm pretty sure my bank takes care of that. Then, I decided I did NOT want to wait for 3 months or more to start and I left. TALK ABOUT DISAPPOINTED! They definetly do NOT have their stuff together! I was SOOOO excited about joining and getting started in 3 weeks, BUT NO. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. So, I will be going to the gym I already am a member of. SO DISAPPOINTING.
