We contacted Harley-Davidson Customer Service and they reiterated that per the terms of the Limited Warranty, they decide if the engine should be replaced or repaired. They have instructed us to repair the engine leak, which we are in the process of completing.Thank you for allowing me to explain our position in this matter. Review: Horsepower HD of [redacted], PA installed 95" reman motor on 5/14/2014 which I decided to replace my 88" motor due to cam shoe issues with the advice of Dave the mechanic it was decided the 95" reman motor would be my best option. Motor is leaking oil which was attempted to be repaired, unsuccessfully twice and now Harley Davidson will not honor the 12 month warranty by replacing the motor.(warranty started on 5/14/2014)Desired Settlement: Replace motor with a properly functioning non-leaking motor or complete refund of the cost of the motor and installation charges totaling $4,894.20.
