Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted]
I have stated all the facts correctly at the time I meant with [redacted] . I made a offer to clean up the cut which is not sufficient with her. I stated to her that the concrete has no integrity or structural issue and therefore does not need to be replaced. If [redacted] feels she wants to replace it that is totally up to her, but we will not replace said concrete. I refuse to get into a he said she said discussion. I have made a offer to resolve this complaint, but it seems to me that [redacted] is not interested in what I have offered.
[redacted] was right I forgot to put screws in to attach existing fence section to the new post. I apologized for that a couple of times and took ownership of my mistake, but this was a minor fix, that I would of taken care of when I got there Monday January 30th but she had it done already. She...
initially contacted us on Saturday and no one was in till Monday, The sidewalk had to be cut to get the post where needed to make gate work. We cut that out with a 14" concrete cut saw. This blade is round so the cut is longer than [redacted] would of liked, but I explained to her that is how the cut is do to the saw her response was 'I should of got a smaller saw'. I did offer to clean up the cut but [redacted] stated that she wanted the whole block taken out and re poured as her sidewalk was going to fall apart. I have attached a photo and you can see the overcut that was done by the saw. The picture also shows with black pencil mark how I showed her that I could clean up the cut. It was at this point she started to threaten me that her brother in law was a big shot somewhere and that I was just trying to cover. I explained to her that the cut does nothing to the integrity of her concrete and it would not fall apart, but she stated that she had talked to others who said it needed to be replaced. In conclusion the sidewalk does not need to be replaced therefore that is not a option, but we are willing to go back and clean up the over cut area as shown in the picture.I again apologize for not installing the two screws that were needed to attach the section to the posts, but we would of done that on Monday when we got there.Thank you,Frank J HornerHorner Brothers LLC
