Every maintenance issue that the tenant brought to management's attention
was dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
The issue with the overgrown trees is the City of Springfield's
responsibility, and we have notified them of the problem.
Tenant was notified that her lease expired and that the manager would like
to talk to her about signing a new lease. In no way was she told to
come in and sign a lease within a day. No increase in the rent would have
been effective until 12/1/15. It would have been the first increase in
over 3 years for this tenant & it would have been $10.
Management does realize that the tenant is on a fixed income. The property
manager spoke with the tenant recently to discuss the rent increase; she was told
that we appreciate her tenancy and would be happy to keep her at her current
rental rate but that she would have to sign a new lease. The tenant
refused.
The original Security Deposit Reconciliation form was mailed to the former tenant the middle of June to the forwarding address we were provided. We sent out a second copy on 7/24. There was a billing error with the June water bill; that bill has been deleted from the tenant's...
account. When the tenant called the office, the property manager was unable to discuss the issue at that time, but told him she would be happy to call him that afternoon. The tenant then called the Horizons Asset Mgmt. home office with his complaint. The district manager was made aware of the situation & attempted to call the tenant later but was unsuccessful. In the meantime, the property manager spoke with the tenant's wife, who was more concerned about the water bill.
rather than talk about it through here _ would rather show you in person what I am talking about- 1 month for blinds - I was very patient - caulking was not done right new put over old - bathroom never finished from prior maintenance put sink back on wall after it fell off- maintenance guy put something on walls said it needed to dry and that was it I would be more than happy to show it too you as for the overgrown trees at curbside yes city was told- I called city - I sent district manager pictures of trees on your property not curbside ones because dead branches are falling off them some are hanging over your apartments and in the lines . as for rent issue you got my reason- My father remodeled houses and I watched him all the time- tthat caulking job is going to cause you mor emoney down the road because it will flake off and water get back under there . If you will check my record ar your tenant i am not a COMPLAINER VERY QUIET rent increase + water increase just made it not possible to stay anymore- even though I really liked it here
