In regards to the complaint filed against my company for water damage due to a failed water pump we installedThe repair was made by our company on a Thursday afternoonThe following Sunday the customer contacted our office to inform us there had been some water that leaked form the washing machine as a result the customer has damage to her floorMonday morning when we opened for business we receive the voice mail with the customers complaintI contacted the customer to discuss the problemWe agreed on a time that afternoon when I could come out to check out the damageUpon arriving the customer had disassembled the washing machine and had already fixed the problem their selfThere was water inside the washing machine so I made the assumption that the washer had most likely leaked water on to the floorCustomer also pointed out the wood floor in the hallway had damage to the floorI advised the customer I would contact my insurance company and start a claim for the damageI suggested the customer contact their insurance company as wellCustomer responded they had already contacted their insurance company and was advised that My insurance would have to take care of the problem
