Good morning. I've reviewed the return request by Mr.. Many parts leave the store and may be returned for store credit or refund. Electrical parts may not be returned. Mr. had requested we order a specific electrical part for his vehicle. After interviewing staff that were involved with Mr. order, I've determined we did follow our process to qualify the customer's request. Mr. was requested to provide the Make, Model and Year of the vehicle for our team to order the part. He was, as all of our customers ordering electrical parts, made aware electrical parts are a no return / no refund item. This policy is ours as it is with all other RV, motorcycle, car dealerships. It's our understanding Mr. was mistaken of the year. Hence the part would not work. Had Mr. attempted to install the electrical part he ordered from us - it is likely that part is damaged and no longer functional for the year model for which it was designed. This is whey you'll see most all dealerships & parts houses with a no return / no refund on electrical parts. I'll be happy to speak with Mr. to further explain our position. Regards
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
no one ever told me that I could not return this part. I knew very little about the vehicle I was orderinig the part fro as I had bought it used. I would not have bought the part knowing that it could be the wrong part and would work of the vehicle I needed it for and would not be able to return it.

The service department has worked diligently in attempts to reproduce the problem on several occasions. We have had more than one technician work with the bike in order to duplicate Mr. reports of the bike dying when making right turns. To date we have not had the bike die in right turn maneuvers and/or during any of our test riding. A repair can only be made after a problem has been determined to exist.
Our last discussion with Mr. was recorded on Friday, ***th at which time Mr. articulated he was going to bring the bike in "after it quit raining" in order for us to begin further attempts to recreate the problem by test riding.
Customer's safety is always number one with the dealership and the factory. Honda as well as Honda Of Knoxville has vested interest ethically and from a liability position to make certain each bike that we sell and service is road worthy and safe to ride. At no time during our test riding have we been able to determine any mechanical or electrical problems that would cause this bike to be unsafe. We strive to serve every customer with the utmost care and concern to remedy their problem and get them on the road to enjoy their pleasure vehicle. We would suggest Mr. to bring the bike in for further testing.
Regards,
Operations Manager
