A home roof that is only 1 year old should not be leaking from normal wear and tear. It was built poorly and with cheap materials. The blame can be put on what ever Covid bull crap reason they choose to try to say, but the truth is it was not inspected and built up to code. I want a refund. If nothing is covered, I will take my money and go else where

Had wind damage to roof which was undetected for a couple of weeks and resulted in curling collapse in one room, only willing to pay $812 - $500 deductible, reason they stated it was preexisting damage. No preexisting damage on that side of the roof.

Bought a brand-new Clayton Home in May 2022 along with their home warranty program through Home First Agency. They list all of these great services they cover which is a total outright lie. They will say it's not covered because of wear and tear, even used just once. Do not use them for your home insurance or warranty programs, you will be left paying for it yourself. Included are their own inspections of my windows, which I did not even open most of them and they were bowed out and you could hear the air whistle through. In the inspection report they state basically they do not cover anything. SO, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased HomeFirst Insurance in 2018 when purchasing my new manufactured home. The home was placed on the lot on August 20, 2018. Like most new homes I presented a checklist of items that needed addressing. However, I did not officially move in until October 4, 2018. On October 24, 2018, I sent an email notifying Clayton Homes that the front window near the door was leaking water when it rain (I have a copy of the original email notifying Clayton Homes). In fairness to them, I later informed them that I thought the window was not closed properly since they had opened it to demonstrate how to clean it. Up to now, I had not noticed any problems. However, I recently discovered during a heavy rain storm that water was coming in from the top of the same window, so I called HomeFirst to report it. The company representative said it was due to settling. The same response as the joist I hear when walking in the main area. Don't purchase this insurance coverage as they want to contribute everything to settling and nothing to construction.

Four days before my wedding and seven days before my honeymoon I was hospitalized with severe kidney disease which had never occurred before Dr Csaid it would be dangerous and unwise to go forward with our [redacted] honeymoon to ItalyThe agent procured a partial refund leaving me with a $penalty which is a major unused expenseI have offered to let the $be used toward another trip within a yearI was refused and had to make other plans for NYC in my own with no assistanceI have had no quarrels with [redacted] or Anchors Away in the past
