The replacement is made to order and the manufacturer is currently producing the piece. The manufacturer as advised the order will ship out first of next week. I have also included a  copy of their email below. We have already given the customer $170.00 credit for the delays and would like to offer another $230.00 for the trouble. We apologize however our records indicate that you place an order on 2/12 totaling $1050.93 with a discount of $43.93. This made the new total charged $1007.00. Everything on the order was cancelled except for a Broan recessed fan $103.32. At total refund of $903.68 has been given. We got this...

number by taking the total charge of 1007.00 minus the $103.32= total refund of $903.68.

I am rejecting this response because:The product was defective when I received it, therefore Homeclick has some responsibility to stand by their products.  Homeclick is passing off a defective product on to the general public and then placing responsibility for it on the manufacturer.  As you can tell by their impersonal, prefabricated response, Homeclick does not stand by their products and does not care about their customers.  I have ordered many times through Homeclick, but never will again.  Bad customer service means loss of customers, something the owners of Homeclick obviously haven't yet learned.  Next time I will go to my local hardware or plumbing supply store, who are struggling to stay in business while competing against big box stores and internet suppliers who have no relationship with their customers and do not care if they lose one.
