I was attempting to do business with Home 1st lending and completed the preliminary information requested After several weeks of chasing the different partners for information I spoke to an agent named Kenny who was very rude with me Although I only that day received a request for the needed documents Kenny was firm that there were several attempts made to collect this information from me Because my credit wasn't perfect and I was just barely qualifying for a loan Kenny felt it was acceptable to talk down to me and belittle what I was attempting to do After reading a few other complaints on this site I would advise finding another loan agency as this one does not know how to talk to or treat potential customers

Very poor lender experience. There were many delays that almost caused the
sale to fall through. Communication was extremely poor and some issues that
were not buyer related were not disclosed until a few days before closing. Appraisal
was not done correctly and bank that broker chose to use was incredibly
inefficient . I would strongly advise to stay away from this mortgage broker.

Provided all of our detailed personal information to a representative (James) using their online application, then confirmed everything over the phone, as well as by email. We last spoke on the phone August 4th, and was told I should have an update within a couple of days. Never heard anything again. I feel very insecure about using this company and would not recommend it, given the amount of information we gave and the lack of follow-up.
