Don't live here in the winter. Apparently, the Emory Woods policy is salt before snow hits, but no snow or ice removal service afterward. This is the information I was given today (1.9.17) by office staff when I asked why nothing was being done about the ice that covers our steps, sidewalks, and parking lots three days after snow hit Durham. I explained that it is dangerous because the ice is several inches thick, but assisting residents is outside the Emory Woods policy.
