I am rejecting this response because:
The individual who represented Mountaineer Heating and Cooling ("MHC") for their response was not part of any of my conversations with Mr*** ***, the Owner and PresidentThe representations made in this letter do not align with the actual conversations I had with or statements made by Mr***While MHC may have a high rating with its governing agencies and through some local media sources (all reasons for which I contracted with them.), the customer experience I had did not come close to these accoladesThe primary complaint I have with MHC is that on two separate occasions, I was told by Mr*** I was "on the calendar" for installationOn both of these dates, after making a two hour trip, I called MHC to get an estimated arrival timeInstead, new installation dates were communicatedThese were hard dates that were never communicated as "estimated." I understand that dates can change, but MHC never communicated any changes to me until after I called themI don't believe this is how a company that claims and prides itself on going "above and beyond" does businessWhen I challenged Mr*** on the morning of the second install date provided to me, Nov24th, the conversation quickly turned personal and unprofessionalHis tone was demeaning and I felt like he was calling me a liar"I never told you the 24th" and "It's my word against yours" was what he told me when he said the 25th was the installation dateIn his letter, MrJames wrote that they contacted the gas provider to corroborate this, however I am not sure how it does when you read through itThe bottom line is, I am the customerMy simple expectation is work will be provided on the date promised or, if it changes, I am notified of such changes in a timely mannerBecause of the way I was treated, I pulled my business from MHCIt is not my "goal" to "damage or harm" this companyI only want to make sure any customer that hires MHC understands the experience I had and how they do business
