RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the... response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] . Please add your rejection comments below. As you can see in the contract and SMS conversation between [redacted] and me, the siding job was not completed (the back dormer of the house was left undone by ***'s crew; my husband finally finished it himself after weeks of waiting for a different crew of ***'s to come back and do it). The staining of the shingles was also never done, despite months of promises by [redacted] that he would be there the next week, the next day, the day after that, etc. ***'s staging was set up all over our house for three months after his crew stopped showing up for work. A lawyer friend of ours recommended that we charge him for storage, since the staging was an eyesore for us and our neighbors. In the end, ***'s guys were able to pick up the equipment without paying us for storage. [redacted] has been threatening me with a defamation case, and has tried to bribe me into removing my BBB review by saying that he will pay me what we previously agreed that he owes us if I agree to remove the review. I am not willing to do that, but I have told him that if he pays us what he owes, we will update our review to reflect that he has resolved the complaint financially. There is nothing he can do at this point to resolve the issue of our wasted time and endless frustration. As far as I'm aware, defamation requires the claims made by the reviewer to be untrue. As you can see in our SMS conversation, [redacted] himself is unable to identify any untrue pieces of my review. Regards, [redacted]
