I have a contract with *** to build his garage for labor only it clearly spelled out in contract he doesn't seem to relize the steps in construction I am more than willing to work with him and get this resolved

The contract states labor and material for $28,and a completed garage Mr *** also had some of the material and roof trusses delivered to my home, which was paid by him before arrival So, I don't know where he thinks it cost $28,for labor only and where that is written on the contract by him, that we both signed I also have in e-mail form that he told me to purchase the rest of material needed with my balance to him of $9,because he didn't have the money to purchase any more AS, for contacting him by phone, he doesn't answer..E-mail contact he keeps make excuses of sending men to finish, but they never show upIt is now weeks since we signed his contract, and my garage is not finished
The job was completed! Now she is looking for storage fees. She has been going on the internet trying to bash my business. My attorney is taking court action against her for defamation.

As you can see in the contract and SMS conversation between [redacted] and me, the siding job was not completed (the back dormer of the house was left undone by [redacted]'s crew; my husband finally finished it himself after weeks of waiting for a different crew of [redacted]'s to come back and do it). The staining of the shingles was also never done, despite months of promises by [redacted] that he would be there the next week, the next day, the day after that, etc. [redacted]'s staging was set up all over our house for three months after his crew stopped showing up for work. A lawyer friend of ours recommended that we charge him for storage, since the staging was an eyesore for us and our neighbors. In the end, [redacted]'s guys were able to pick up the equipment without paying us for storage. [redacted] has been threatening me with a defamation case, and has tried to bribe me into removing my Revdex.com review by saying that he will pay me what we previously agreed that he owes us if I agree to remove the review. I am not willing to do that, but I have told him that if he pays us what he owes, we will update our review to reflect that he has resolved the complaint financially. There is nothing he can do at this point to resolve the issue of our wasted time and endless frustration. As far as I'm aware, defamation requires the claims made by the reviewer to be untrue. As you can see in our SMS conversation, [redacted] himself is unable to identify any untrue pieces of my review.
