Review: On 08/01/2014 Home Care Medical strikes again. With my hatred there poor service and receiving Social Security Medical benefits I was required by law to use Apreia Heath Services for my CPAP supplies for the last 16 months. Suddenly without cause or provocation after 18 months, I received a CPAP supply package from Home F-_ked Care Medical in my mail box. I have repeatedly told them that I want nothing to do with your SH-T service ever again because of repeated problems with there service. I never authorized this shipment and would never use them ever again , yet they continue to call me and send equipment I never ordered, because I am required to use Apriea by Medicare. I want them to stop calling me and come and get there un ordered equipment themselves. Not make me stand in a long lines at the Post Office or UPS, like they did before, when they screwed up because I am handicapped, and they just don't care about there customers...Additional I want them to stop calling me period......Desired Settlement: I want Home Care Medical to 1) come and get there un ordered medical supplies,by ether but sending UPS to my home to retrieve the package or have the US Postal service come to my home and pick it up and not send a bill to anyone because I never authorized this and never will. 2) I want Home Care Medical, to stop calling me automatically and attempting to sell me medical equipment, that I don't need or want and stop the harassment...

Response:
I was able to review Mr. [redacted]’s concern rather quickly. It is correct that Mr. [redacted] inadvertently received CPAP supplies that he declined in an automated call. When we received a call from the client, we sent a driver to pick-up the supplies. This was completed on August 5, 2014. There was a flaw in a data transfer to our fulfillment center that caused this order to process.
While Mr. [redacted] indicates that he has Medicare, our records indicate he has a commercial insurance. We did not have record of Medicare benefits. These ‘commercial’ benefits were verified prior to delivery – he may still have this commercial insurance as a secondary insurance. With Medicare, it is accurate that he should receive his supplies by Apria Healthcare, or another approved vendor.
Mr. [redacted] has been removed from our automated call list. In addition, an alert has been placed on his account to not serve him in the future. Along with the inappropriate language in his letter to you, there is numerous documentation throughout his medical record about vulgar and argumentative language and behaviors with our staff over an extended period of time for a variety of reasons. While we apologize for this specific error, we will not tolerate his verbal outburst to our staff.
We hope that Apria is able to meet his healthcare needs.
