Hello,We contacted the customer because the item they returned is not what we originally shipped themThe serial # they returned, has never existed in our system and according to Apple was originally purchased in Additionally, the specifications do not match what the customer orderedThe customer purchased an [redacted] with 4GB of system memoryThe unit they returned has 12GB of system memory (please see attached invoice confirming the customer's order, as well as picture of the tag on the unit the customer returned for reference)We have already escalated this case to our [redacted] Account manager who advised us not to issue a refund, and to follow internal protocol of offering to ship the product back to the customerWe offered to ship the product back to the customer, and she refused, telling us to keep the unitFurthermore, the customer neglected to ship the unit back with any packing material at allPlease see the picture of how the unit was received with literally no packaging or cushioning whatsoeverBecause of this, it was severely damaged in transit [redacted] has inspected the shipment and determined the shipper (customer) is at fault for not packaging it sufficiently, and would not be able to honor a damaged package claimThe buyer is responsible for ensuring the safety of a product when it is returned to us and the customer admitted this was not done properly when we spoke to her on the phone.To summarize, we are unable to accept the return and offer a refund for the following reasons;1) The buyer returned a unit that has never existed in our inventoryThe serial # does not match her original order, and the hardware specifications are different than what she ordered2) The buyer shipped the package in a manner causing it to be damaged in transit3) We have been advised by Walmart specifically to NOT honor a refund as the return is fraudulentPlease reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding this caseWC Support
