Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/06/16) */ June 14, Home & Leisure Super Store In response to the Revdex.com Complaint # XXXXXXXX Mr [redacted] Called the store stating that he had a hole in is linerMy first solution was to tell him to patch it Mr [redacted] then called and said the patch didn't work and asked if there was any warranty on the linerWith out looking at the Invoice I told him it would be predicated on certain criteriaI told him we would have to inspect the liner to see if it was indeed a warranty issue I sent an employee " [redacted] " out to verify the issue at handI was informed that the liner would fall into the area of warrantyI then looked at Mr***'s original invoiceThe Invoice states that the pool was a "Clearance pool and Was sold "as is" My response to Mr [redacted] was predicated on this verbiageI sent a Note / Copy of the invoice to Mr [redacted] Highlighting the area on the invoice which stipulated "AS IS" Mr [redacted] then came into the store and produced the original invoice that had some hand written changes on it [redacted] Hobviously made some changes with out changing it on the Stores copyHence the confusionI couldn't verify anything with [redacted] Has he is no longer employed with Home & Leisure After Seeing the original invoice I provided Mr [redacted] a Liner at "No Charge" I asked if he'd like to have us get an installer for himHe informed me that he had someone to do the workI informed him that, due to the fact that we are not installing the liner we will not be warranting the new linerHe agreed and left with a new liner In conclusion: The red tape during this exchange was unfortunate but in the end Home & Leisure Took care of the issue at handWe Warrantied the Liner % and offered Labor to install the liner at a reasonable Rate Home & Leisure Still stands on the Ready to Help the [redacted] family with any and all of the Pool Needs Respectfully [redacted]
