I apologize for the problems ( [redacted] ***) experienced While Hollywood Nails and SpaAs I stated before we strive for 100% customer satisfaction as we provide services days a week for a multitude of people from various backgrounds and ethnicities We recognize how important it is to maintain a degree of integrityWe have many factors in our business that occasionally cause unanticipated mishaps [redacted] [redacted] request for reimbursement is appreciated When problems occur, we want to help We do not reimburse customer for incidental expenses that cannot be proven The Acetone we use is not a powder, it is a liquid I do not dispute the validity of her claim that she had something on her pants, but the fact remains that the stain could have come from anywhere ln addition since there are no witnesses, there is no proof that it took place in my establishment, so therefore I don't feel obligated nor liable to replace work scrubs
To Whom it may concern,My name is *** and I'm a manager at Hollywood Nail and SpaI'm writing this letter in response to a complaint received on July 25, with the assigned ID: ***According to the complaint, "It would also appear they are baiting people without a current licence."
First of all, all of our staff are licensed and well trainedSecond, we always sanitize the working areaIn fact, we're using disposable plastic liners for pedicure chair after each client; therefore, the foot soaking tubs are not dirty like she claimedAlso, we thoroughly clean our nail utensils by cleaning and putting them in an UV electric sterilizer machine after each service and throw away all of our disposable toolsThird, the techs completed their job and even received a tip from herLastly, she also agreed to sin an agreement which states on our sign in sheet: "We hope your experience today is wonderfulHowever, if you are not satisfied with the services, please bring them to the management's attention prior to leavingWe are not responsible for anything that are not reported prior to leaving the spa." She came back the next day and asked for a full refund due to " I do not like my nails." I refused ti give her a refund, but offered to fix it until she is happy with her nailsShe said "no!" but only wanted the money backI told her if that's the case, I could only give her the 20% discount but not the full refundShe was mad and left the salon. If you have any further questionsplease don't hesitate to ask. Thanks and have a wonderful day!*** ***
First I would like to thank you for contacting me in regards to customer concern ID
[redacted]. As we value all of our clientele and strive for 100% customer satisfaction, it is heartbreaking to know that one of our customers walked away unsatisfied. After, reading the...
concern;, I would like to state that the concern was addressed when the
customer called into Hollywood a half hour later. During the course of the conversation the client stated "people told her she had a stain on her pants when she returned to her jobsite". She also stated "that the stain must have happened at my place of business"; however that cannot be confirmed. After further investigation to attempt to rectify the situation I spoke to her co- workers and they reported a stain being on the front part of her scrubs.
Furthermore, there was an attempt made to rectify the situation; as she was a first time client and we strive for I00% customer satisfaction as stated previously. While attempting to resolve the situation, the customer became hostile and I asked her not to return to my place of business.
This is viewed as a serious matter and I would never want my clientele to feel uncomfortable.
Again thank you for contacting me in regards to the above mentioned concern.
I apologize for the problems ( [redacted]) experienced While Hollywood Nails and Spa. As I stated before we strive for 100% customer satisfaction as we provide services 7 days a week for a multitude of people from various backgrounds and ethnicities. We recognize how important it is to maintain a degree of integrity. We have many factors in our business that occasionally cause unanticipated mishaps.
[redacted] request for reimbursement is appreciated. When problems occur, we want to help. We do not reimburse customer for incidental expenses that cannot be proven. The Acetone we use is not a powder, it is a liquid. to leave unsatisfied is not my idea of customer service or providing 100% satisfaction.I would like this opportunity to state that, in regards to Ms. [redacted]'s concern, I believe she was provided with professional services as we have provided since opening our business. Like, many customers who come in with pictures of nail art and nails they are informed, the nails and/or the art will not be identical as we are not the original nail techs; however if you are not satisfiedwith the job we will fix it. After being serviced Ms. [redacted] did not express her concerns about her dissatisfaction; however she did call the next day and I asked her to come in, so I can see the nails. After Ms. [redacted] arrived she still expressed dissatisfaction with her service and was refunded $25.00.Again thank you for contacting me in regards to the above matter.

I am responding to the business for whom I have a complaint with. I disagree with what the owner has stated. He made no effort, then or since to address my problem. I also find it disturbing that he actually went to my place of employment to discuss the matter with my co workers. We are a medical professional office, we cannot engage in conversations off the street with people who may make a scene in our office. My co workers did see the stain, I showed them. I was wearing bright red pants that day, any stain before the incident at his business would have been brought to my attention as I would have had to change my pants. I originally thought the stain was just powder, and I would wipe it off at my office, as the service I had, a manicure, did not use any nail polish removal. It did turn out to be Acitone. He was hostile, racist and unprofessional. He is of Asian decent and he was screaming at me that he was speaking in English and I should understand he does not want "My Kind" in his store. All I want is replacement if my red, Cherokee Scub work pants. That is all.
Thank you
Review: Hello my name is [redacted], I made a visit to hollywood nails Wednesday January 21st 2015, I was one of the last customers in the salon, I got my nails and my eye brows done . when I arrived I told them I wanted the coffin shaped nails and I was not satisfied with the results. I was rushed during my service , the nails were done poorly. Multiple times during the service when he would let me look at them I kept telling him they don't need to be filed anymore he continued to file stating that, that's how they are supposed to be done. I'm not a nail tech so therefore I let him do his job.my nails were polished while I was sitting in the chair to getting my eyebrows done . after my service was finished I paid $48 and I left . when I arrived home I compared them to the picture I showed him and they did not match, but being as though I was rushed I didn't notice until I got home. I called the next morning stating that I was not happy with the results of my nail service and the guy told me there was nothing he could do about it , I proceeded to ask him for half refund or soak them off n redo them n he said that doesn't make sense we don'tdo that.Desired Settlement: No refund and no redo

Review: I went to the business to get a manicure. The girl who did it was nice and professional. However when leaving I noticed a white spot on my uniform. I just assumed it was a powder type of material since it is a nail salon. When I walked back to work, one block away, I used water to rub it out, it was then I noticed it was acitone and left a bleach like stain on my red pants. I then called the business to let them know, and see how they would resolve the situation. I spoke to the manager who was very rude and informed me that he doesnt do anything, and I must have walkin in like that, and that he doesnt want "My Kind" in his busiess. I work in a doctor office and am not permitted to work with stains. I had to borrow a co workers extra uniform, or be sent home. I had no polish which needed to be removed, so acitone should not have been where I was sitting. I am also complaining about the health hazzards this shop is showing. I know it would not pass an inspection as there are liquids out of marked containers and loose on the counter, where I sat or washed my hands. I was told to call the police if I had a problem. I am choosing to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I only asked for a replacement of my work scrubs, as they are a required work uniform and are stained. I can provide pictures of the stain. I asked if I could show the manager himself, but he refused to do anything but yell at me.
