Holloway Roofing recently completed a roofing / trim coil replacement on my house in Rocky Bayou EstatesThe workers were efficient and completed the job in days and it all looks rather good but we have had a few issuesI was able to pick up a small bag of nails from around the house and driveway areaSome of the nails used to secure the trim coil to the house have backed out and in one place the coil came completely detached from the house at one end, to which they will have to come back and completely replace this piece because it was damaged by the wind while swinging freely from the houseThe last piece and biggest is when they file the work commencement order for your house this document places a judgement against your house which shows as a lien in case you don't pay and even though we paid the job in full this lien / judgement is still in place until they file an affidavit stating you have paid the job in fullYou the customer have to request this as Holloway Roofing won't do it unless askedThis will show against you the customer as an outstanding debt / judgementThis little tidbit should be disclosed to the customer when working the original contract between parties as it could be an issue if the customer tries to get any more work done on their house
