Review: I hired this freight company to move me three miles. When I made the appointment the lady that answered the phone said this move should not take more than 2 hours. They showed up at 8o'clock the scheduled time and the move took around 3 hours. With the movers leaving 5 pieces of furniture back at my house in the garage where I moved from. It took them over 45 minutes to move those 5 pieces of furniture. I can understand that they were being careful and did not want to ruin any of my furniture. During the move the two movers made the comment that this was there only job for the day. When they finished the move, there was a king size mattress that was bent and has yet to come back to its shape. They gave me the bill which I paid, just because I was overwhelmed with the bill. The movers charged me for 2 hours of travel from their facility which is just around 25 minutes away. When I called the office the next day the lady at the office told me she would discuss it with [redacted] and have him call me that day. Two days later I had not heard anything and they cashed my check the next day. I called back again and the lady ([redacted]) working there told me that she would that they were not going to reimburse me for any of the move and I asked [redacted] to have [redacted], [redacted], call me which has been over 5 days and I still have not heard anything from him. I am really upset that I was overcharged and that [redacted], [redacted] does not have the respect for a paying customer to return my call.Desired Settlement: I do not want to reimbursed for the whole move, they did do their job. But, I think a bill of 648.00 for the move was a bit much. I would like to be reimbursed for 200.00 of the bill. I would also like a phone call with an apology from [redacted] regarding the mistake that their drivers made. There should also be some reimbursement for the mattress that I am going to have to replace also.

Response:
Dear Revdex.com,
Please find enclosed a copy of the contract that Ms. [redacted] signed. I told her it should not take
more than 4 hrs. to load and unload truck the 5th hr was travel time. As for the pieces she said was left
in her garage, she never mentioned to anyone about them. She stated only a few things when asked
what she had to move and when our guys got there, it was a lot more then she had stated.
Sincerely

Response:
[redacted] did not provide the correct information to [redacted] as what exactly she had to move. She had more to move than than what she told [redacted]. The mistake [redacted] made was telling her it was to not take more than two hours to complete the job. This was [redacted]'s estimated guess/opinion of the time it would take to complete [redacted]'s move.
[redacted] should not have told her it would only take two hours because of the reason that [redacted] may not have told [redacted] what all needed to be moved, (under informed.) However, [redacted] signed a contact and she is responsible to pay for the hours that it took to move her stuff, which she did.
We apologize for the mis-information that [redacted] provided [redacted]. As of Friday August 9th, [redacted] is no longer with the company.
